Post-Mortem Surgeon

What is a post-mortem surgeon you say? Well let me explain. Are you ready?

A post-mortem surgeon specializes in restoring human remains to as natural a state as possible.

-Embalming is classified in the medical field.
-Embalming is one of the earliest surgical procedures humanity undertook.
-Embalmers prepare the body for final disposition as opposed to a post-mortem surgeon that attempts to return remains to a natural state.
-Not all embalmers are post-mortem surgeons, but all post-mortem surgeons should be embalmers.

Care of the Decedent

What is a decedent? It is a person who has died. Take time to ask questions when you are choosing a funeral home to care for your loved one.

Hello Anon

The sites slightlytmorbid.com and deathswitch.com are interesting sites. The idea is a good one, but what if you are not dead? What if you are in prison, hospital, etc for some time. The notices sent out could unset some people. Leaving password and bank info could be a good idea, but other info may not be so good. If the site is used for death notices only if could be helpful.
